This photo was taken while driving in the Land Rover. Tay was in the picture. Jess was out of sight. We were driving approximately 80 beef cattle back to the yard.

Jess fetched a beast back that got away.

Jess fetched the same beast back.

Jess turning young bullocks into a feeding area.

Jess made sure that the bullock understood what was to be done.

Jess and Dewi explained things to one feisty beast.

This bullock faced down Dewi; Dewi didn't back down.

Dewi held up the bullocks at the feed trough. That allowed time to put feed into the troughs without putting myself in danger of being knocked over and getting injured. Dogs that will do this are a bonus at winter time when the cattle are keen to come up for their feed.

This image showed Jess and Dewi after being called off the trough to allow the cattle to feed.

Job done.

This image showed the cattle while feeding at the trough. While feeding, it allows a stockman, at a glance, to inspect the cattle while they are feeding.

Dewi stood watch as the bullocks began to return to the holding pens.

Jess drove beef cattle into the holding pens.
